Developer FAQ

Is it ok if I build a commercial/paid service if I only use the free tier of the API?

Sure, as long as you abide to our terms of service, remain within the usage limits, and adhere the WorldMate attribution requirements.

I sent a confirmation email that was not parsed, what now?

First of all, our apologies. We support over 1300 major airlines, hotel chains, car rental agencies, rail systems and travel agencies, and we’re continually adding more. If your email didn’t get parsed successfully, please send the confirmation email in question to apisupport@worldmate.com and we’ll let you know when we add that provider to our supported list.

Will an unsuccessful parsing be charged to my usage limit?

No, we only count confirmation emails that were successfully parsed.

Where can I find the list of the supported providers of confirmation emails?

Here is the complete list of supported providers. Our experience shows that this covers roughly 93% of providers in the US and Canada. On a global basis, the coverage is approximately 85%.

Which foreign languages are supported for confirmation emails?

The language support is on a case-by-case basis depending on where the confirmation email came originated. We have support for various providers covering English, German, French ,Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese.

I need to parse a higher volume of emails than is allowed in the free tier. What do I do?

In addition to the free tier, we have paid tiers of service that allow for much higher usage and various other benefits. You can learn more by visiting Pricing.

I have a technical question – who can I contact for assistance?

If you are enrolled in a paid tier of service, please contact us at: apisupport@worldmate.com for technical support. We don’t provide one-on-one technical support for free tier developers, however, we do have technical documentation.
